Case 1 -
Sale of high-tech company
The owners of a successful manufacturing company had reached a stage where they had to decide whether to continue grow relatively slowly (low financial risk) or to make substantial marketing investments and in so doing increase their financial risk. They decided not to make the expansion investments and came to Tobieson & Svennewall for financial advice.
The first step was to perform a valuation of the company and a strategic evaluation. The owners commissioned Tobieson & Svennewall to perform a structured sale of the company. We put together a divestment memorandum and introduced the company to a number of potential buyers. Six months later a large listed company in this sector bought the company.
Case 2 -
Venture Capital Exit
A venture capital company charged Tobieson & Svennewall with the sale of one of their portfolio investments. A sales material was produced and after a structured sales process the other investors in this company choose to redeem the venture capitalist.
Case 3 -
Tobieson & Svennewall was part of an international financial team in a private placement of a medium size Russian oil exploration and production company. We successfully closed part of the placement, just under one million USD, within three weeks.
